The "2026 ART FUTURE" exhibition delivered a positive outlook by demonstrating the international energy and potential of emerging artists, confirming that the art market remains robust.

J-ArtLink's mother-of-pearl lacquerware works are given significant attention as the 'culmination of craftsmanship.'.

J-ArtLink CEO Park Je-won explains the mother-of-pearl lacquerware artwork "Turtle."

"I would like to share the meaning behind this piece and its production process," CEO Park said.

Inspired by Simcheongjeon (The Tale of Sim Cheong), the artwork "Turtle" depicts the turtle that guided Sim Cheong to the Dragon King's Palace.

She explained that the piece was created through a meticulous, multi-layered lacquering process, with mother-of-pearl (abalone shells) carefully separated by color and inlaid to highlight the distinct characteristics of each section.
